Where do ideas come from? How can we cultivate the sensitivity to perceive them?
Gabriel Brugnara, founder of VERSA, proposes an encounter between creativity and consciousness. Through a conversation followed by a creative meditation session, we will embark on an expedition into our inner nature, exploring the creative process, intuition and our ability to tune into new ideas, bringing together human technology and artificial intelligence.

Amid today’s information overload, art direction has established itself as an essential creative discipline, capable of organizing an excess of content into compelling messages and experiences. Grounded in aesthetic judgment, storytelling, and creativity, art direction translates ideas into images and sensory experiences. In this conversation, we will explore the tools, choices, and creative processes that allow us to create aesthetic strategies and meaningful communication.

A workshop exploring art direction in a short, intense, and stimulating format. Inspired by the sensory experience of coffee, participants are invited to wake up, spark their curiosity, and formulate an aesthetic strategy capable of stirring the senses and emotions amidst the “decaffeinated” visual landscape we inhabit.
Objective
To learn the tools, methodology, and perspectives of art direction through a practical and concise format designed to translate ideas into original experiences.

4D method for art direction practice (created by Jordi Cano, founder of the Master’s in Art Direction at Elisava) and MADNN tools.

Garupa / Until 22:00
We close the day with a music listening session, aperitivo and a DJ set by Garupa. A moment to let ideas circulate, continue the conversations and make new connections within the community.
Lucía Colombo
Art direction, creativity, and communication professional with a solid track record in both academia and the cultural industry. She co-created and co-directs the Master’s in Art Direction & New Narratives (MADNN) at Elisava, where she also teaches across various postgraduate programs.
She is also the director and a lecturer of the Master’s in Art Direction and Audiovisual Creativity at SHIFTA. She began her professional career in the publishing sector in Buenos Aires and later developed her practice in research and education within the creative field in Barcelona.
